P6-19 Braking resistor value

Setting range: 0; R_min – 200 Ω

Sets the braking resistor value in ohms. This value is used for thermal protection of the braking resistor. R_min depends on the inverter.

The thermal protection of the braking resistor is calculated depending on P6-19 and P6-20 and displayed in P0-56.

P0-56 Entry 1: Maximum power-applied time [ms]

P0-56 Entry 2: Working cycle

Pause time [ms] = working cycle × maximum power-applied time

When set to "0", the protection function for the braking resistor is deactivated.
