Electrical installation
WARNING
Electric shock due to charged capacitors. Dangerous voltage levels may still be present inside the device and at the terminals up to 10 minutes after disconnection from the supply system.
Severe or fatal injuries.
- Wait 10 minutes after de-energizing the inverter, disconnecting the line voltage, and deactivating the DC 24 V voltage.
- Make sure that the device is de-energized.
- Only then may you commence any work on the device.
WARNING
Danger of fatal injury due to falling hoist.
Severe or fatal injuries.
- Do not use the inverter as a safety device for lifting applications. Use monitoring systems or mechanical protection devices as a safety device.
- Only electrical specialists may install the inverters in compliance with the corresponding regulations and rule sets.
- The grounding cable must be designed for the maximum line fault current, which is normally limited by the fuses or motor circuit breaker.
- The inverter has degree of protection IP20. For a higher degree of protection, use a suitable enclosure or the IP55/NEMA 12K or IP66/NEMA 4X variant.
- Make sure that the devices are correctly grounded. Observe the wiring diagram in chapter Connecting the inverter and motor for this purpose.
