Direct control mode

In direct control mode, the local keypad communicates directly with the inverter via the engineering interface of the inverter. The data exchange works as follows:

Bit 0 of control word 1 of indirect control mode has the value "0". This means that the local keypad is in direct control mode.

Actuating the key switch starts Manual mode. The drive can be controlled directly in manual mode if no fault is present.

Apart from manual mode, all other functions are used for diagnostics. With the exception of a fault reset, no parameters can be written to the drive; they can only be read.
