Startup for hoist function

  1. First perform a motor startup in VFC speed control according to chapter Startup with asynchronous motors with VFC speed control.
  2. Activate the brake control for lifting applications P4-12 = 1.
  3. Set the ramp times for P1-03 and P1-04 as short as possible.
  4. Set the minimum speed P1-02 to at least 1.5 times the rated motor slip.
  5. If no sensor is used for protecting the braking resistor, you can optionally use the following parameters for protection against overtemperature of the braking resistor. However, only a sensor provides adequate protection.
    • P6-19: Braking resistance value
    • P6-20: Braking resistance power
  6. Observe the direction of rotation of the motor:
    • Positive speed on the display = Raise hoist
    • Negative speed on the display = Lower hoist
