Fans and pumps
Startup of pumps and fans
- Start up and parameterize the connected motor type using the control mode intended for it, see chapter Startup with motors. For asynchronous motors, use U/f control.
- The slip compensation must remain deactivated (P1-10 = 0).
- Set the ramps P1-03 and P1-04 to the most sensible values possible.
- The difference between acceleration and deceleration must be as small as possible.
- In the case of freely rotating fans or pumps, always activate the flying start function P2-26 = 1 if they are operated with asynchronous motors.
- If the process does not require an overload, limit P4-07 and P4-09 to 110%. Individual adjustment to a maximum of 150% might be necessary.
- Do not manually change any values in parameter group 7. These parameters may only be changed by experts and only when necessary.
