Troubleshooting and optimizing the hoist function

The following hoist parameters are already preset for motors of the same performance class. However, you can change the hoist parameters at any time to optimize the system:

  • P2-07: Fixed setpoint speed 7 becomes the brake release speed:
    • Guide value for operation without encoder: 2 times the nominal motor slip
    • Guide value for operation with encoder: 1.5 times the nominal motor slip
  • P2-08: Fixed setpoint speed 8 becomes the brake application speed:
    • Guide value for operation without encoder: 2 times the nominal motor slip
    • Guide value for operation with encoder: 1.5 times the nominal motor slip
  • P4-15: Torque threshold for brake release:
    • Increase the value when the hoist is sagging.
  • P4-16: Torque limit timeout:
    • Guide value = premagnetization time (P7-12) of the motor
  • P4-13: Brake release time:
    • Adjust the value according to the technical brake data.
  • P4-14: Brake application time:
    • Adjust the value according to the technical brake data.
  • P2-23: Zero speed holding time:
    • Used for post-magnetization.
  • P7-07: Enhanced generator control
    • Activate in case of very high regenerative loads.
  • P7-10: Stiffness:
    • Higher values increase the stiffness of the application.
  • P7-14/P7-15: Boost parameter for torque precontrol:
    • Increase the values slightly when the hoist is sagging.
