Speed-controlled manual mode

Speed-controlled manual mode can be used to move the drive using velocity control. A speed-controlled axis is displayed in the menu that is limited by the minimum and maximum applicative speed.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the Manual mode menu, select the Speed-controlled manual mode icon.
    • The following query is displayed: "Do you want to start manual mode?"
  2. Confirm with the <OK> key.
    • The Speed controlled manual mode window is displayed.
  3. Set the following setpoints [3]. Changes to the values have a direct effect on the drive.

Description

Enter the desired setpoint speed in user units, e.g. rev/min.

Enter the desired setpoint acceleration/setpoint deceleration in user units, e.g. rev./(min*s).

To change the direction of rotation, press the <OK> key.

  1. To enable the drive, press the green <RUN> key.
  2. To stop enabling the drive, press the red <STOP> key.
  1. To stop manual mode, press the <Esc> key.
    • The following query is displayed: Do you want to stop manual mode? Warning! An applied setpoint will be active again after stopping manual mode.
  2. Before stopping manual mode, check that there are no persons in the area of rotating parts.
  3. Confirm with the <OK> key.
  • Manual mode has been stopped and pending setpoints become active again.
