PID controller mode (P1-12 = 3)
The implemented PID controller can be used for temperature control, pressure control or other applications.
The following figure shows the configuration options for the PID controller.
General information on use
Connect the sensor for the controlled variable to analog input 1 or 2 depending on P3-10. The sensor value can be scaled using parameter P3-12 in such a way that the user can see the value correctly displayed on the inverter display, for example 0 to 10 bar.
The target reference for the PID controller can be set using P3-05.
The setting of the speed ramp times has no effect when the PID controller is active. Acceleration and deceleration ramps can be activated depending on the control deviation (target value to actual value) using P3-11.
Fixed setpoint reference
The fixed setpoint reference entered in P3-06 is used with the setting P3-05 = 0. When the parameters P9-34 and P9-35 have another value than "OFF", 3 additional fixed setpoint references P3-14 to P3-16 are activated and are selected according to the table below:
