Fault response

If the expected logical signals are not detected once the monitoring time has lapsed, the configured fault response is carried out:

• STO
• SSx1
• SSx2
• Only F-PI
• The fault response "F-PI" can only be carried out if a safe protocol has been selected.

In addition to the configured fault response, the EDM output is switched off.

The fault response is also carried out if a fault is detected on one of the inputs assigned to the EDM function.

The fault response is carried out until an acknowledgment is made.
