SLA safety sub-function with MOVISAFE® CS..A

The SLA function monitors the acceleration within the parameterized limit values. If the SLA safety sub-function is activated, first the parameterized Monitoring delay (8706.9) applies. During the monitoring delay, the parameterized Maximum speed (8707.1) is monitored. Then the monitoring of the parameterized speed ramp starts.

The actual acceleration is monitored based on the following conditions:

  • The speed is greater than the parameterized Minimum speed for acceleration functions (8707.6).
  • The speed is increased.

If the speed is decreased, monitoring is not active.

A Fault response (8706.32) is triggered if the parameterized Limit acceleration (8706.73) is exceeded.

If the Inverter control parameter is set to "Active with limitation", the inverter acceleration is limited to the limit values of the SLA function minus the value set in the Acceleration offset parameter.

An exceeded limit acceleration must be acknowledged. With the "Only F-PI" fault response, the status of the SLA function is reset automatically if the limit acceleration is held again. A safe protocol must be selected for this purpose.
