SLP safety sub-function with MOVISAFE® CSA31A
The SLP safety sub-function can be used to implement safe, absolute position functions. The SLP function monitors whether the defined limit positions are exceeded. The defined limit positions are monitored based on the settings of the following parameters:
- Lower limit position s1
- Upper limit position s2
- Deceleration a
- Ramp monitoring
The threshold positions must be within the limits of the position mode. The calculation of the stopping distance is made only above the minimum speed.
