DC 24 V supply

Input for the independent backup voltage supply of the electronics

DC 24 V input

24V_IN

UIN = DC 24 V -10%/+20% according to EN 61131-2

When using an internal 24 V power supply with simultaneous external connection of a 24 V and 400 V supply, note that the backup current of the external 24 V supply typically only takes over the full load at 26 V. Between 24 V and 26 V, both 24 V sources operate under partial load, depending on the load. If there is no 400 V supply connected to a device with internal 24 V power supply, the external 24 V supply is placed under full load.

When using brakes with DC 24 V voltage, the tolerance specifications of the brake must also be observed.

Typical required current with DC 24 V voltage:

550 mA for electronics

  • plus 100 mA for DFC.. design
  • plus 20 mA for I/O option /ODA
  • plus 60 mA for I/O option /OAA
  • plus 130 mA for safety or encoder option
  • plus 300 mA for fan supplyOnly for products with nominal output currents of 46 A and 62 A. For products with a nominal output current of 32 A, the external fan is present depending on the project planning.
  • plus 50 mA for each digital output
  • plus 60 mA for the extended temperature range option /C.2
  • plus 50 mA for the CBG.. keypad
  • plus supply of the connected periphery (e.g. encoder and other sensors)
