Setup variants for two-row setup

If, for reasons of space, the modules of an axis system cannot be set up in one row, some of the modules must be installed in a second row. The first row is connected with the second row using cables. The 6 following setup variants exist for this 2-row setup. For setup variants 1 – 5, the distance of the upper edge from the main row and the upper edge of the auxiliary row is specified as 670 mm. For setup variant 6, the distance between the main row and the auxiliary row may be up to 50 m. For the 2-row setup in a control cabinet, use the cable sets from SEW-EURODRIVE, see chapter Wiring harnesses and accessories for 2-row setup.

SEW-Workbench provides support in selecting the setup variants.

INFORMATION

Change of the degree of protection
In setup variants 1, 2, and 4, connecting the DCP34A cable set reduces the degree of protection to IP10.
If degree of protection IP20 is required, use the same connection units in the main row and auxiliary row in setup variants 1 and 2 as are used in setup variant 3.
