Description

Enable

"1": The brake test is enabled on the safety option and can be used.

Activation by SBT clearance

  • "1"
  • The brake test starts solely with the "SBT clearance" signal (F-DI.. or F-PO).
  • "0"
  • Starting the safe brake test requires that both signals be set, "SBT clearance" (F‑DI.. or F‑PO) and "SBT enable" (DI or PO).

Direction of movement / test direction

  • Positive direction of movement / positive test direction:
    • Moving clear in the positive direction of movement takes place in step 1.
    • The build-up of the motor torque in the positive direction of movement takes place in step 3.
  • Positive direction of movement / negative test direction:
    • Moving clear in the positive direction of movement takes place in step 1.
    • The build-up of the motor torque in the negative direction of movement takes place in step 3.
  • Negative direction of movement / positive test direction
    • Moving clear in the negative direction of movement takes place in step 1.
    • The build-up of the motor torque in the positive direction of movement takes place in step 3.
  • Negative direction of movement / negative test direction
    • Moving clear in the negative direction of movement takes place in step 1.
    • The build-up of the motor torque in the negative direction of movement takes place in step 3.

Maximum travel distance in direction of movement

  • The set value defines a limit value for the maximum travel distance. Up to this limit value, movement is permitted during moving clear.
  • The set value must be greater than the set Distance.

Maximum travel distance in opposite direction of movement

  • The set value defines a limit value for the maximum travel distance against the set direction of movement. Up to this limit value, movement is permitted during moving clear.
  • The set value must be greater than the set Distance.

Waiting time

Time for which the drive stops (waits) after a movement or possible movement before the next sub-step starts. The waiting time allows possible vibration/fluctuation in the machine to die away.

Load torque

  • Entry of load torque that is present at the drive at the test position.
  • For machines without load torque, enter a value of "0".

Load torque tolerance

  • The set load torque is tested during the test procedure. This parameter defines the permitted deviation of the determined load torque from the parameterized load torque.
  • Possible load torque fluctuations over the planned service life of the machine such as friction, wear, etc. must be taken into consideration.
  • The tolerance must not be used to compensate for variable load torques.

Duration of individual test steps

  • Duration of individual test steps until next test step, e.g. stopping the proportional motor torque in step 3.
  • The duration must make it possible to determine the actual torques. SEW-EURODRIVE recommends durations greater than 0.5 s. With a high level of device utilization, the minimum duration can also be greater.

Duration of torque buildup

Time used by the inverter to build up the motor torque according to Torque input.

Duration of torque reduction

Time used by the inverter to reduce the motor torque according to Torque input.
