Pre-selection for control
The brake test can optionally be called up via a safe signal or in combination with a standard signal and a safe signal.
The desired control is selected in the "Assist CS..." parameterization tool. To do so, call up the Activation by SBT clearance parameter in the "Brake test" menu.
You have the following configuration options:
- Activation by SBT clearance = 1
- The brake test starts when the SBT clearance safe signal is present. This can optionally be sent via a safe digital input (F-DI..) at the safety option or via a bit in the safe process output data (F-PO) of the F process data.
- No additional signal is required to start the brake test.
- Activation by SBT clearance = 0
- The brake test starts when both signals "SBT clearance" and "Activate SBT" are present. The "SBT clearance" signal can optionally be sent via a safe digital input (F-DI..) at the safety option or via a bit in the safe process output data (F-PO) of the F process data.
- The "Activate SBT" signal is also required at the start of the brake test. The "Activate SBT" signal can optionally be emitted via a digital input (DI) at the inverter or via a bit in the process output data (PO) of the communication.
