Moving clear

Description

Distance

  • In step 1, the machine moves in the required direction of movement with the set section length. Then the machine moves against the required direction of movement with half the section length.
  • The value must be smaller than the value set for Maximum travel distance in direction of movement.
  • The value must be greater than 20 times the value of Permitted movement at standstill. When testing two brakes, the parameter for brake 1 and 2 can be set separately. In this case, the larger value applies.
  • The Distance must be selected in such a way that moving clear takes at least as long as the Duration of individual test steps.

Information:

After moving the machine clear in step 1, the position differs from the start position. If the identical start/end position is required in a machine-specific manner, positioning to the desired position must be carried out by the machine control after the brake test is complete.

Position tolerance

Maximum permitted difference between the actual moving clear distance and the setpoint entered for Distance.

Acceleration

  • Setpoint for accelerating the machine to the set Maximum speed while moving clear.
  • In the case of machines with Load torque = 0, the acceleration of the inverter must be set.

Maximum speed

Maximum permitted speed of machine during moving clear.

The actual speed during moving clear varies together with the Distance. With long travel sections, the machine moves at the set maximum speed. With short moving clear distances, the actual speed will be less in order to move to the target position correctly.

Tolerance for duration

Maximum permitted deviation of actual moving clear duration in comparison to the calculated duration.

The duration that is expected is calculated from the following parameter settings:

  • Distance
  • Maximum speed
  • Acceleration
  • Filter times encoder 1
