The following setting options are available for configuring the "Brake control" monitoring function. The default settings are shown in bold.

  • The monitoring function takes the SBC safety sub-function of the CS..A safety option into account in addition to the brake control DB00.

  • The monitoring function does not take the SBC safety sub-function of the CS..A safety option into account.

Information:

When using the SBC safety sub-function of the CS..A safety option, the "Evaluate 'SBC' signal" radio button is to be set to "On" so that the monitoring functions correctly.

Brake control 1 – switching delay

  • 50 ms

Setting of the response time between the DB00/SBC signal of the brake control and the STATUS signal of the SBM. After this, the monitoring function is active.

Brake control 1 – fault response status

  • No response
  • The monitoring function is deactivated.
  • Warning
  • If a fault is detected, the application inverter switches to the "Warning" status and issues a warning message.
  • Application stop + output stage inhibit
  • If a fault is detected, the application inverter switches to the "Application stop + output stage inhibit" status and issues a fault message.
