Overview of functions

The monitoring function is available for up to 2 SBM brake modules and can be set separately for each brake module.

• Setting/display functions:
• Selection of SBM size
• Adjustable switch delay
• Display of the current switching state of the STATUS signal

• Monitoring functions:
• Adjustable fault response for monitoring the STATUS signal.
• The function performs a plausibility check of the switching status of the STATUS signal from the SBM safe brake module against the control signals for the brake control (DB00 and/or SBC) from the application inverter.
• Adjustable fault response for monitoring the switching frequency of the SBM.
• The function monitors the switching frequency of the SBM with regard to the permitted limit values via the STATUS signal.
