Electrical installation
The "Brake control" monitoring function requires the STATUS signal of the SBM brake module. The STATUS signal can be transferred to the application inverter as follows.
- The STATUS signal is wired as follows:
- for SBM 1: IDI01
- for SBM 2: IDI02
- Parameterize the digital input for the basic device in MOVISUITE® with the following function:
- for SBM 1: Brake control 1 – status (Index 8462.20, Bit 0)
- for SBM 2: Brake control 2 – status (Index 8462.20, Bit 1)
- Wiring of the STATUS signal to a higher-level controller (PLC). This transmits the signal to the basic device via a freely configurable bit in the control word (process output data).
- Parameterize the desired bit in the control word in MOVISUITE® with the following function:
- for SBM 1: Brake control 1 – status (Index 8462.20, Bit 0)
- for SBM 2: Brake control 2 – status (Index 8462.20, Bit 1)
