Preparing the fixture

Square pipes are suitable as a holding fixture for the MOVI-DPS® storage unit. To prevent mechanical overlapping, you must only use square pipes with an edge length of ≤ 35 mm.

For the required dimensions, see the figure below and refer to chapter "Technical data > Dimension drawings Dimension drawing of storage unit":

Tapped holes spacing

Procedure

  1. Calculate the overall width X as follows:
  2. "Number of adjacent modules" × "Module width"
  3. Calculate the spacing A for the tapped holes in the holding fixture as follows:
  4. ("Number of adjacent modules" – 1) × "Module width" + 24 mm"
  5. Mark the tapped holes of the holding fixture.
  6. Cut the threads for the bolts at the marked points.
  7. See the figure at the start of this chapter for the spacing of the holding fixtures.
  8. Mark the spacing at the installation location.
  9. Mount the holding fixture at the installation location at the calculated distance.
