Test result and ending the test
The brake test can be ended with or without an error message.
- The brake test ends without an error message.
- The brake has successfully passed the brake test. Completion of the brake test is indicated by bit "SBT active" being set to logical "0". At the same time, the inverter is set to status "STO". The "STO" bit is set to logical "1". The 7-segment display at the inverter flashes in status "C2".
- Brake test control can be deactivated (signals "SBT clearance" and, if necessary, "SBT enable"). The inverter switches to FCB 02.
- The brake test ends with an error message.
- The brake has not passed the brake test. Completion of the brake test is indicated by bit "SBT active" being set to logical "0". At the same time, the inverter is set to status "STO". The "STO", "Diagnostics ASF" and "Drive safety function diagnostics" bits are set to logical "1". The 7-segment display at the inverter flashes with error message E‑46.50 (Safety option error). The safety option signals an error detected by SBT E-70.xx (Safe brake system). The error numbers of positions "xx" provide detailed information about the error that has been detected. A list of error numbers can be found in chapter "Service" > "Fault description for CS..A safety option".
- To acknowledge an error, first deactivate the safe brake test control (signals "SBT clearance" and, if necessary, "SBT enable"). You can then reset the pending error by acknowledging the error at the safety option. After successful acknowledgment, the inverter switches to FCB 02.
