CIP Safety™ service "Safety Reset"
The safety option can be reset on the Safety Supervisor object using the CIP Safety™ service "Safety Reset". Safety reset type 0 and 2 are supported when doing this.
- Safety reset type 0
- The EtherNet/IP™ interface will be restarted.
- The safety option will be restarted.
- Safety reset type 2
- The EtherNet/IP™ interface will be restarted.
- The safety option will be restarted.
- The safety option can reset the CIP Safety™ parameters TUNID, CFUNID, and OCPUNID to their default values. To that end, the existing "Bit Map" attribute in the service (Bit 2: TUNID, Bit 4: CFUNID, Bit 5: OCPUNID) is additionally evaluated.
The AlarmEnable and WarningEnable parameters are always reset to their default value.
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
- In the "F-communication" menu in Assist CS.., the "CIP Safety™" protocol type must be selected and the address assignment mode must be set to "Via CIP Safety™ Originator".
- There must be a valid parameterization.
- The CIP communication connection must be blocked (inhibit).
