Putting the physics simulation into operation in MOVIKIT® Robotics

  1. Open the configuration for MOVIKIT® Robotics.
  2. Open the Physics configuration menu (INFORMATION: The configuration menu is shown only if a kinematic model that supports the "physics simulation" function is selected).
  3. Activate "activate physics simulation".
    • The [Kinematic model]_inertia properties submenu and other configuration fields will be displayed.
  4. Activate the "collision response" function.
    • The "collision response" area is shown.
  5. Define the "Warning" value as the collision response.
  6. Open the [Kinematic model]_inertia properties submenu.
  7. Configure the inertia of the robot using the corresponding configuration fields. INFORMATION: For a realistic simulation of the force-torque loads, all the parameters of the "physics simulation" must be realistically parameterized.
