Step 3: Selection of the number of EKM energy storage modules

Select the desired number of EKM energy storage modules. All EKM energy storage modules are connected in series. As a result, the nominal voltages of the individual modules are added together. Depending on the selected nominal voltage of the EKM energy storage modules, a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 24 EKMs can be combined to form an EKV energy storage bundle. Only a number of EKM energy storage modules that can be divided by 2 or 3 is permitted.

The following table shows the minimum and maximum permitted number of EKM energy storage modules per EKV energy storage bundle depending on the nominal voltage of the selected EKM energy storage module.
