To optimally adapt an energy storage system to your application, SEW‑EURODRIVE requires one of the following pieces of information from you:

  • SEW-Workbench project
  • Power curve (measured values from a real machine or system)
  • Type designation of the existing energy storage system (spare-parts case)

SEW‑EURODRIVE also requires additional information regarding the environmental and operating conditions. Based on this information, SEW‑EURODRIVE can design the optimal energy storage system for your application.

The EKV energy storage unit of the MOVI-DPS® series offers a unique modular approach for configuring an energy storage system. The flexible arrangement of the individual EKM energy storage modules allows you to achieve different geometries of EKS energy storage stacks. By combining up to six EKS energy storage stacks into a single EKV energy storage bundle, you can flexibly adapt your energy storage system to the available installation space.

The energy storage system is configured in several steps. SEW‑EURODRIVE will assist you in the selection process.
