Teach mode (110 – 112)

In teach mode, the drive is first moved to the desired position in the same way as in jog mode. After selecting a valid table or v position range via process data, the position is saved when the start signal (PO 1:7) is set. Depending on the operating mode, the actual position is interpreted as follows:

  • Operating mode 110: Teach mode – table position
  • Operating mode 111: Teach mode – v position range (left limit)
  • Operating mode 112: Teach mode – v position range (right limit)

If the drive is in motion when Start/stop (PO 1:7) is set, the motor is first stopped with FCB 19 (Stop at application limits).

The following diagram shows teaching using the example of a table position in mode 110. Teaching in modes 111 and 112 is performed in the same way.

INFORMATION

Teach mode is only possible for referenced drives. If the drive is not referenced, no "Teaching successful" feedback is issued and no position is saved.
