Closing cover for power connection

To achieve degree of protection IP20 according to EN 60529, insert a closing cover in the touch guard at the power connection for the following modules:

  • MDP90A.. power supply module size 2
  • MDP90A.. power supply module size 4
  • MDR9.B.. supply and regenerative module
  • MDA90A..single-axis modules size 3
  • MDA90A..single-axis modules size 6

The closing covers are included in the scope of delivery.

Proceed as follows:

  1. If the touch guard is still installed, remove it from the respective module, see chapter Removing the touch guard.
  2. Select the closing cover suitable for the respective module and insert the closing cover [2] into the touch guard [1], see the following table.
  3. If no further work steps are required, install the touch guard on the respective module, see chapter Installing touch guard.

The following table shows the assignment of the closing covers to the respective module and the procedure for inserting the closing cover in the touch guard:
