Table of braking and discharge resistors

The following braking and discharge resistors are intended for connection to the brake chopper of the MDP92A power supply module. Other braking and discharge resistors are also permitted, provided that they exhibit a resistance of at least 10 ohms and are intended for operation with a frequency inverter at a line voltage of 500 VAC.

The technical data applies within a temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C.

At ambient temperatures above +40 °C, the continuous power must be reduced by 4% for every 10 K. The tripping current must be reduced by 2% for every 10 K. Do not exceed a maximum ambient temperature of 80 °C.
