Function assignment of safe digital outputs F-DO..

If a brake is to be tested in the safe brake system, you must select an F-DO.. with the SBC safety sub-function. You can select any F-DO.. you like. Afterwards, the function of the F-DO.. is as follows:

  • With functional control, the F-DO.. controls the brake within the device via the inverter (DB00).
  • With safe control using the SBC safety sub-function via the MOVISAFE® CS..A safety option, the brake is safely switched off.

If two brakes are to be tested in the safe brake system, both F-DOs must be selected with the "SBC" function. Afterwards, both F-DOs function as follows:

  • With functional control, the F-DOs control both brakes simultaneously within the device via the inverter (DB00).
  • With safe control using the SBC function via the MOVISAFE® CS..A safety option, both brakes are safely switched off at the same time.
  • When the brake test is carried out, both brakes are controlled separately. First, the brake test is carried out with the brake controlled at F-DO00, then the brake test is automatically repeated with the brake controlled at F-DO01.

Description

F-DO00

  • "None"
  • The output has no function.
  • "STO"
  • The output switches with activation/deactivation of the STO status.
  • "SBC"
  • The output takes over the function of the SBC safe brake control and the functional control DB00 from the inverter. The SBT brake test tests the brake that is controlled with this output.

F‑DO01
