0x8480-03 – Setpoint position

This object specifies the internal value of the setpoint position at the input of the position controller. It is generated by the higher-level modules (e.g. PtP ramp generator).

For the "PtP position profile" operating mode, this object specifies the internal value of the setpoint position at the input of the position controller. The object is generated by the higher-level modules (e.g. PtP ramp generator). For the "Synchronous positioning" operating mode, the new target position is specified in this object in user units: "0x8180-02 – Gear unit factor". This object can also be found in the dynamically assigned word 4 in the output area and should not be written via the acyclical channel, as the value is overwritten with the next cycle.
