The current operating mode of the motor controller can be read in object 0x8280-02. The following values are supported:

0 | No operating mode |
1 | • You can activate "Homing mode" during ongoing operation, provided you previously set a homing method using "0x8300-02 Reference travel method". • It is only possible to switch to the "Speed profile" if the state machine is in the "Switch-on inhibited" state. |
