Data exchange
- For data exchange via Safety over EtherCAT® between the CS..A safety option and a higher-level controller, the safety option in the "Technology" profile variant has the following process data assignment:
- 6 bytes of input data
- 1 byte of header data
- 3 × 2 bytes of user data and 2 bytes of CRC, each in pairs
- 2 bytes of connection ID
- 6 bytes of output data
- 1 byte of header data
- 3 × 2 bytes of user data and 2 bytes of CRC, each in pairs
- 2 bytes of connection ID
- For data exchange via Safety over EtherCAT® between the CSS21A, CSS31A, CSA31A safety option and a higher-level controller, the safety option has the following process data assignment in the "System" profile variant:
- 12 bytes of input data
- 1 byte of header data
- 6 × 2 bytes of user data and 2 bytes of CRC, each in pairs
- 2 bytes of connection ID
- 12 bytes of output data
- 1 byte of header data
- 6 × 2 bytes of user data and 2 bytes of CRC, each in pairs
- 2 bytes of connection ID
Profile data must be evaluated and made available in "Little Endian" representation in Safety over EtherCAT®.
