Current-carrying capacity of the brake chopper

The resistance value of the braking resistor R_BR must not be lower than the minimum permitted braking resistance R_BRmin, see chapter Technical data of basic device. This ensures that the brake chopper is not damaged.

R_BR ≥ R_BRmin

The continuous braking power toward the braking resistor must not exceed the apparent output power of the inverter.
