Process data configuration

The controller is controlled via the process data channel. The process data words are created via module configuration in the startup software and are mapped accordingly in the I/O section of the .

The configuration depends on the device family and must be adjusted accordingly.

The following table shows the maximum number of process data words that can be used for communication depending on the device family:

When configuring the application and communication, also observe the maximum number of 1500 bytes on EtherCAT^®/SBus^PLUS.
