Electronic cam (Camming)
INFORMATION
Only included when using MOVIKIT® MultiMotion Camming.
The term camming (electronic cam) refers to a definite assignment of positions between a master drive and a slave drive. In Camming operating mode, master-based profiles are generated where the position of the slave axis results from the position of the master axis based on a curve description.
To synchronize and desynchronize the slave axis with the position of the master axis, various Synchronization and desynchronization mechanisms are available. Using these synchronization and desynchronization mechanisms is also demonstrated in chapter Application examples.
