Structure
The bus coupler is comprised of a bus interface and a power supply module, which are integrated into a housing. Up to 64 peripheral modules can be installed on the bus coupler. They are connected to each other via the backplane bus and thereby are supplied with voltage. The bus interface offers a connection to a higher level bus system. The bus interface and the electronics of the connected peripheral modules are supplied with voltage (DC 24 V electronics supply) via the power supply module. The DC 24 V voltage supply for the connected peripheral modules is by means of a further connection on the power supply module.

Bus cover
A bus cover is included in the scope of delivery for each bus coupler. The bus cover is also available separately as an accessory.
