The single-axis module is the DC-AC inverter for operating a motor. It is intended for the operation of asynchronous and synchronous motors with and without encoders and has the input for the motor encoder, the MOVILINK® DDI interface and analog and digital inputs and outputs built in. Additional functions such as inputs and outputs, encoder interfaces, and extended functional safety functions can be implemented via slots.
