The power supply module with controlled DC link voltage rectifies the line voltage and regulates the DC link voltage via an integrated DC/DC converter module. The voltage control can be used to regulate power consumption from the supply system. As a result, it is possible to connect large capacities, such as energy storage units, directly to the DC link.
