Power supply modules with controlled DC link voltage, energy storage units, and axis modules

The following image shows an example for a basic configuration of MOVIDRIVE® modular with the MDP92A.. power supply module with controlled DC link voltage, an energy storage unit, and the MDA90A.. and MDD9.A.. axis modules:

Possible extensions:
  • As an alternative to the MDM90 master module, a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER can be mounted without a master module.
  • MDC92A.. energy module
  • External energy storage unit, directly connected to the DC link
  • MDE90A.. DC/DC converter module with external energy storage units
  • MDL91.. coupling module for connecting the MOVIDYN® decentralized servo system

If energy storage units are used, the use of a MOVI-C® CONTROLLER with MOVIKIT® software modules is required. In this case, the possibility of control with an external PLC via EtherCAT®/CiA402 is dispensed with.
