Supply and regenerative module

The power supply modules MDR90B.. (sinusoidal) and MDR91B.. (block-shaped) provide the DC link voltage for the axis modules. In MDR90B.. (sinusoidal), the DC link voltage is regulated to DC 750 – 800 V; in MDR91B.. (block-shaped), only rectification takes place during feed-in operation. The regenerative energy is fed back into the supplying grid and is thus available to other consumers. This will save you up to 30% in energy costs.

Axis modules

The MDR90B.. and MDR91B.. power supply modules have the following characteristics:

  • Average component price
  • Very short payback period, often less than 6 months
  • Simple control via digital inputs or MOVI-C® CONTROLLER
  • High energy transparency, measured values for power and energy
  • Particularly suitable for short cycles and high masses
  • Particularly suitable when the waste heat from braking resistors causes follow-up costs, e.g. storage/retrieval systems, dusty environments, cold stores
