MDP90.. power supply module with braking resistor

The MDP90A.. power supply module contains a rectifier and a brake chopper. The power supply module provides the DC link voltage for the axis modules. A braking resistor is controlled by a brake chopper and discharges the DC link. The regenerative energy is converted into thermal energy in the braking resistor.
