DRM.., DR2M..

The DRM.. and DR2M.. torque motors are 8-pole or 12-pole AC motors that are designed for operation with rated torque at standstill. They are comparable to springs with endless spring deflection.

The synchronous speeds range from 500 – 750 min-1.

The DRM.. motors are available in duty types S1 and S3 (15%).

DRM.. motors are usually operated on the supply system and rarely operated on the frequency inverter. In line operation, the motors move against the block at nominal speed and thus hold the application at speed 0 to position.

A thermal check of the brake is not necessary for these motors because the brake has already been developed for this purpose.
