Description

With the decentralized FEA31A SSI combi-box, it is possible to connect 2 SSI distance encoders to the CSA31A safety option of a MOVIDRIVE® modular/system/technology. To do this, connect X17 of the CSA31A safety option to X3225 of the FEA31A SSI combi-box. Only the prefabricated connection cable from SEW-EURODRIVE is permissible for this. The length of the connection cable can be configured from 0.5 m to 30 m.

The decentralized FEA31A SSI combi-box is designed with degree of protection IP54 and can be installed outside of the control cabinet (for example, mounted on the wall).

If the total current consumption of the two SSI encoders exceeds 500 mA, the SSI encoders must be connected to an external voltage supply.
