Introduction

  • The device must be started up using the CFC or VFCPLUS control mode (with encoder).
  • The brake test is exclusively compatible with the AS1 drive train.
  • The required torque input for testing the brake must be taken into consideration during the configuration of the devices.
  • The setting of the application limits Torque and Apparent output current in the inverter must allow the proportional motor torque (Torque input) to be built up in the Test direction.
  • Select the parameter settings of the "FCB 01 output stage inhibit" drive function as follows:
    • 0: Release brake/deactivate DynaStop® with FCB01 – enable
    • 1: Apply brake in event of STO
  • This corresponds to the default setting in the delivery state.
