The EtherCAT^®/CiA402 communication interface is only available with the MCX91A-....-E00/... unit designs.

The EtherCAT^® interface makes it possible to connect the inverter to EtherCAT^®-based automation and visualization systems. The CiA402 device profile is supported.

The EtherCAT^®/CiA402 communication interface has the following characteristics:

• EtherCAT^® (process data)
• EtherCAT^® with CiA402 device profile

When using the communication interface, you can communicate directly with the device via EtherCAT^®. The engineering software can be used for startup, diagnostics and parameterization via the master-side mailbox gateway, while EtherCAT^® is running.
