Adapting the PDO image

Up to 8 objects with 32-bit word width each can be added to the image of the process data objects (PDOs) of the inverter. This makes it possible to insert manufacturer-specific process values into the PDO image in addition to the objects required for the respective modes of operation.

In the configuration of the inverter, predefined objects, which can be configured as PDOs, are already stored under channels.

INFORMATION

Only the objects listed under channels can be configured as PDOs. If further parameters are to be read or written, the SDO service (see SDO services READ and WRITE) must be used for this purpose.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the configuration of the inverter ("Decentralized-Electronics").
  2. Select the object under channels and set the access to the object in the Cyclic transmission parameter.
    • If read access or write access is set to the object, the object is displayed as an input or output in the I/O assignment.
