Startup steps

INFORMATION

Make sure that the module is always supplied with the appropriate parameters for the selected operating mode! Pay particular attention to the current values used in the output area!

 

  1. Carry out a hardware configuration and create your application program. Transfer both to your CPU.
  2. Set your PLC to RUN.
  3. Switch the motor on.
    • Your system is now ready to communicate and you can set parameters using the "acyclical" channel.
  4. Send the "Switch off" command, "0x8100-01 - control word, bit 3...0: x110"
    • The function module shows the status "Ready to switch on."
  5. Send the "Switch on" command, "0x8100-01 - control word, bit 3...0: 0111".
    • The function module shows the "Switched on" status.
  6. Send the "Enable operation" command, "0x8100-01 - control word, bit 3...0: 1111".
    • The function module shows the status "Operation enabled." The drive is now ready for your travel commands.
