Scaling and units

• Stepper motors rotate by a defined angle when a pulse is received.
• You can specify a gear unit factor 0x8180-02 – Gear unit factor in the object list for "normalizing" position, speed and acceleration. This gear unit factor represents the units (in thousands) that a rotary axis needs to make exactly one revolution.

Direction of rotation

• Clockwise rotation relative to the motor axis, i.e. rotation to the right, is considered the positive direction of rotation.

Current unit

• All currents are standardized to the unit "mA".
