Target Unit Network Identifier (TUNID)

CIP Safety™ requires that an EtherNet/IP™ device must possess a unique network node number (Target Unique Network Identifier, TUNID). The TUNID consists of the IP address of the inverter and the Safety Network Number (SNN).

The safety option retains its TUNID after the assignment. The TUNID is written to the safety key in non-volatile memory.
