Behavior on target position change

  • Off – No change of target position possible during movement.
  • Based on start position – Change of target position during movement is possible. The new target position refers to the original start position.
  • Based on current position – Change of target position during movement is possible. The new target position refers to the current position of profile generation.
  • Based on target position – Change of target position during movement is possible. The new target distance is based on the last target position and is applied with a positive edge change of input signal xAcceptNewDistance (and a pending start signal).

Target position monitoring

  • Yes – Before approaching the target position, check whether it is within the set software limit switches. If the target position is outside the set software limit switches, the motion is not started and a fault is displayed.
  • No – Before approaching the target position, do not check whether it is within the set software limit switches.
